Sponsorship Opportunities & IMPACTS

  • Student Scholarships (approx. $300 per session - four sessions per year; Comprehensive Study sponsorship for immersive study would be $1050 per session).
  • School Performances / Workshops for students / Professional development for educators ($500 each through the Young Audiences of Massachusetts program)
  • Subsidized Performance Tickets - Reserve one to a block of tickets to be offered to those who may not otherwise be able to attend. (Avg. pricing is $18-$55/ticket)
  • Vital Learning Collaborations with Indian classical musicians and guest artists ($650 per artist per engagement - classes, workshops for students).
  • Traditional Baithak Concert small gathering with kathak artist and musicians ($2000+).
  • Professional Productions/Projects:  Video Project ($10,000+), Stage Concert ($15,000+), Full Production ($20,000-50,000)
  • Artist and Educator Fees to advance the mission through classes, outreach performances, professional performances, professional and artistic development.  (Income is primarily generated through classes and donations.  All other activities aim to at least cover actual costs.  Performances do not generate net income after guest artists and production costs are paid.  Most often these all run at a loss with kathak being so niche and not yet supported at the level needed. )

Tax-deductible Donation

Tax deductible donation is made possible through fiscal sponsorship by Boston Dance Alliance (BDA). 7.5% of any donation is retained by BDA.

Direct Donation

Not tax deductible.  All proceeds go directly to artist fees, program and production costs, and student scholarships.

  • You are welcome to make a tax-deductible contribution through our fiscal sponsor, Boston Dance Alliance (BDA).*  A 7.5% fee is retained by BDA.
  • Direct donations are not tax-deductible, but go directly to the work you are sponsoring (artist fees, program and production costs, etc.).

$25 to $999: Access Sponsor
  • Support learning and engagement; $25/class, workshop, or performance; $300/session; $1000 per year
  • Sponsors receive public acknowledgements on the website, through event promotion on social media or as preferred, at events, in our programs

$1000 to $9,999: Sustainability Sponsor
  • Support bringing art to the community; performance and outreach; professional platforms and collaborations that highlight the art in its true form
  • Same as above, plus exclusive access to artist engagements, performances, events, rehearsals, and behind-the-scenes previews.

$10,000 or more: Heritage Sponsor
  • Support the artists to devote the time, energy, and focus needed to master and bring their craft to our communities and the world through education and performance, preserving heritage and benefitting generations to come.  Exclusive benefits apply. ​
